Do you dislike your voice? Is it holding you back?
Do you lack the confidence to speak in front of otherss?
Do your colleagues not listen to you?
Voice (verbal communication) and Body (non-verbal communication) are two levers of our proprietary executive presence framework, the Epeland Method™. Through a focus on these two areas, we systemically improve your voice and public speaking capabilities.
Our tested and proven 5 step process shared below allows for customization for your specific needs. It includes psychometric qualitative and quantitative assessments to track your progress and ROI. You’ll build a personal relationship with your coach that makes a lasting effect on your lifetime.

POST ASSESSMENT
1/Consultation
Our journey starts with a complimentary consultation so that we can get to know each other better, and learn if Melanie is the right coach for you.
2/Assessment & Getting to Know You
Once we decide that we’d like to work together, you’ll complete an intake and assessment including qualitative and quantitative data points. This not only allows Melanie to get to know you more deeply, but also serves as a self-reflection process for you. And lastly, we gather data points to help us assess how you’re improving over time.
3/Espeland Method™ Structure
We’ll use Melanie’s methodology to guide you through your roadblocks, building self-awareness, and honing new skills.
We typically drive short and long-term impact in 3 different ways:
Our Executive Presence approach typically includes the following 2 pillars and 6 levers of the Espeland Method™. For Voice and Public Speaking coaching, we focus upon the Voice (verbal communication) and Body (non-verbal communication) levers.
LITERAL | FIGURATIVE |
Voice | Authenticity |
Body | Confidence |
Appearance | Vision |
For 1-on-1 coaching, Melanie also customizes the program for your specific needs, adapting as needed throughout your time working together.
4/Mid-Point Reflection As we work together, Melanie will ensure there is a consistent feedback loop including a mid-point reflection process to ensure we’re aligned and continuously moving in the right direction.
5/Post Assessment When you’ve reached the end of your coaching, or are taking a break until your next time working with Melanie, we’ll use the data we’ve gathered to understand your growth and define key exercises and resources to keep you on track.
Body, or non-verbal communication, is a key lever of Executive Presence. Typically, we pair a focus on the Body lever with the Voice lever (verbal communication). Your body is your instrument, and is the component that actually creates your voice, and therefore one of the core foundations to an excellent speaking voice and executive presence. Through coaching, you learn how to play your instrument.
